Sheldon 4-H is part of the Sacramento County 4-H community, offering youth opportunities to grow as leaders, learners, and citizens. Sheldon 4-H includes a diverse range of projects from public speaking and arts and crafts to animals and community service. Our members learn by doing, guided by the 4-H values of
Head, Heart, Hands, and Health.
Who Can Join
Youth ages 5-19* are welcome to join 4-H.
Youth 5-8 years old - Primary members*
Youth 9-10 years old - Junior members
Youth 11-13 years old - Intermediate members
Youth 14-19 years old - Senior members
*Age is calculated as of December 31 of the club year. Members must be age 9 to show market animals.

Our club is proudly led by youth leaders who take charge of planning, organizing, and guiding our activities with creativity and responsibility. Our members come from all around Sacramento County including Elk Grove and Wilton.
